Because how can you not love a baseball player named "Bubba"?
Eleven days after Paul Janish last played, there's finally an update. David O'Brien, the Braves beat writer for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, posted on Twitter:
#Braves INF Paul Janish strained side muscle diving for ball on shoulder-surgery rehab assignment. Will soon start another rehab in Triple-ASo, when the Gwinnett announcer said Janish was "tender on the left side," he meant it literally. It was his side that was the problem.
I suppose it's good news that it's not his surgically-repaired shoulder. Though oblique strains can linger. Hopefully it's not too serious; if they're expecting him back "soon" it sounds like a mild strain.
