Reds starting pitcher Johnny Cueto has had a setback. He was supposed to make a rehab start tonight in Pensacola, but an exam with Dr. Kremchek revealed "soreness" so he's back on the shelf. They'll re-evaluate Monday, supposedly.
Unfortunate for Cueto, but an opportunity for Tony Cingrani. If he keeps pitching the way he has, it's going to be awfully hard for the Reds to send him down.
In other injury news, Paul Janish was put back on the Gwinnett Braves roster this afternoon. I assume this means he's recovered from strained muscle in his side and will be back in the lineup tonight.
UPDATE: Yup, Janish is back in the lineup. He's playing SS and batting 8th.
