Janish starting tonight


Hall of Famer Hal wants to see more of Janish.

I’d like to see Paul Janish start a game a week at third and a game a week at short, giving Scott Rolen and Orlando Cabrera a day off each week.

It sure would be nice if he could play more often.

In any case, he's playing tonight. Dusty Baker wants to give Brandon Phillips a rest day, so Janish is starting at 2B. It will be the first stringers tomorrow facing Stephen Strasburg, so BP gets today off.
