The All-Star selections were announced today. Derek Jeter and Robinson Cano made it as starters. Alex Rodriguez made it as a reserve. Pitchers Mariano Rivera, Phil Hughes, and CC Sabathia made it as well. Andy Pettitte was surprisingly left out. Nick Swisher is on the final ballot, where the fans get to pick the last man on the roster.
