This has nothing to do with baseball, but I used to be a devoted X-Files fan in my misspent youth. (I'm not really a collector, but one thing I'd love to have is one of Bubba's jerseys from his Las Vegas 51s days, with the little gray alien on it.) Anyways, this is a good cause, so...

A group of actors, including several X-Files personalities, is banding together to raise money for a friend who has cancer. There's an article about it here. And here's the link to the group's web site.

The actual auction is here. Lots of interesting stuff. Like a dinner date with Nicholas Lea and David Duchovny. Or if you don't like them, how about Callum Keith Rennie or Chris Carter? There's also X-Files memorabilia, and dinners with actors from Stargate: Atlantis and Battlestar Galactica, and other stuff.

The photos in the item listings are very cute, at least if you're a fan of the actors in question.
