All Things Bubba: Hot and Not

I looked in on Red Hot Mama's "Who's Hotter" tourney. Bubba is beating Bronson Arroyo, 81% to 19%. Despite Bubba's indisputable and irresistible hotness, I find it hard to believe that a bunch of Reds fans would pick him over their rock star ace, Arroyo. Must be Bubba fans wandering over to vote. Good job, folks!

OTOH, Josh "Beckett o' Lard" is, well...let's just say he's looked better:

would you like a "hot of the presses but i can't tell you who i am but you can trust me" bit of bubba info?

he was just invited to the Seattle Mariners triple A spring training camp(since the majors' spring training camp is full) and is currently being looked at by the mariners (obviously), the mets, and the rangers.

if i'm lyin', i'm dyin'. :)

Eek! Oh, thank you. That's good news if true. I was starting to wonder if he was retiring, moving to Japan, or had had some kind of setback with his shoulder.

Even if you are lying, I'm grateful for any rumors at this point. ;-)

in the next 24-48 hours there will be more specifics. it could be that he gets picked up by one of the other teams who are interested now that Seattle has given him an official offer. i will let you know what i know. i promise i will give you "verification" once i have it. that's all i can tell you for now. :)
