The weather is wreaking havoc with baseball schedules. The photo is of the Portland Sea Dogs field:
The Sea Dogs on Thursday dotted the field with 11 snowmen in jerseys and caps -- nine players, a batter and an umpire.
Meanwhile, the Cleveland Indians will be temporarily playing their home games in Milwaukee, where there's a domed stadium.
Some people are griping about the MLB scheduling.
The Bats play the Columbus Clippers tonight at 7pm. It's not the same Clippers, of course...
The lineup has been posted. Bubba is in the two-hole again tonight, but is playing CF for the first time. (I've always thought that was his natural position.) There's no DH - and here I thought they always used a DH in Triple-A, at least in the IL.
