Bubba posts?

As I posted this morning, the Cincinnati Enquirer has an article about Bubba today, called Meet Bubba Crosby. Check out the comments. There's a reply from someone named "bubba." Dunno if it's really him or not, but even if it isn't, he probably is reading the comments. So if you want to send him a message, that's probably the place.

Someone named "Bobby" left this comment:

This guy is a class act. Great work ethic, focused, and has talent. Incredible work out regimen during the offseason. Thrilled to have him as part of the Reds Organization.

Dunno who "Bobby" is, but it sounds like he's with the Reds.

Reds blogger Red Hot Mama is running a poll about who will be the Reds' surprise star of the Grapefruit League. Bubba is currently in the lead.

KC2HMZ, who posts regularly at Red Hot Mama, is hoping the Reds will be this year's version of the 1986 Mets, with Bubba playing the role of Lenny Dykstra. Now that would be cool. Especially the beating the Red Sox in 7 for the World Series part.

Just posted this photo because I like it...

hey hey hey
lay off the sox now.
or we'll have to start talking about the yankees not making it to the world series in how many years?
no, it would be so nice to see him do well. we hated it when chris berman kept reporting about the 2 bobby crosby's in baseball. he deserve some face time for something besides a collision. i keep remember the great spring he had when the yankees went to japan. so we're praying for a repeat.
happy mardi gras!

Obviously, the reason the Yankees have not made the World Series is they didn't use Bubba enough. That's what they get for benching him for the likes of Ruben Sierra and Tony Womack. ;-)

It always cracked me up when the Yanks played Oakland, and USA Today's live game log would add in Bubba's first initial. Like it's really going to help us tell which Crosby is which when they're both B. Crosby. Ditto when the Yanks played the Marlins, and "M. Cabrera" was supposed to help you tell Melky from Miguel.

Bubba had great spring trainings in 2004 and 2005. 2006 wasn't so hot, but he missed a lot of time with an injury that year. Hoping it goes well for him this year. It sounds like he came prepared. As always.
