All Things Bubba

Hordes of people study player stats, but this guy is studying manager stats. He's represented them as features on cartoon faces. The human eye can instinctively recognize small variations in faces, so presenting data this way lets people more easily spot similarities and differences.

Opening day was rained out for the Yankees, but they played the game tonight. It sure is weird to see Girardi instead of Torre sitting in the dugout. I think it was time for Torre to go, but still...it's so weird that he's gone. He was the Yankees manager longer than I've been a baseball fan.

I still have photos from the last two spring training games I attended in Florida to post. Haven't had time (I need a vacation to recover from my vacation!), but I'll do it soon.

And whoa, Bubba has surged into the lead in Red Hot Mama's hottest baller tournament. He has quite the loyal fanbase. :-)
