Joba activated

Peter Abraham says Joba Chamberlain will be called up today. Pete Abe thinks either Jim Brower, just called up to take Myers' spot, or Jeff Karstens, will be sent down.

Shelley is safe. The Cairo move makes sense, but it's still a little surprising.

Amazing. And Bruney was sent down, not Karstens.

The Yanks' moves over the past couple of weeks have really surprised me. I can't help but think that Torre has had very little say in what's going on. It's like Cashman is making the moves and ignoring what Torre wants. Which wouldn't be surprising, if this is Torre's last year, as many seem to think.
